So there I was the other day, lonely in my usual spot on the bed while my love worked and made chores, (I would help but my limbs are too short to grab a broom, and my body is inflamable, so no kitchen for me) when it hit me: My spot had previously been occupied by someone else. I'm still not entirely sure about that, and if it's true, who it was that used to fill my space.

The reason I arrived to this conclusion was because of they way my love and THAT MAN act towards me. In my experience with humans, they tend to ignore 'inanimated' objects (we DO have a SOUL and FEELINGS) and treat us as if we were decorative plants; but they don't. They pay attention to me, let me know about the family situation, give me stuff to read - or like in yesterday's case, alcohol!-, let me watch TV with them (even though I don't particularily care for my love's soap opera). So it's only logical that before me there had been someone else. Someone who might have also been showered with love and care.

Suddenly I feel kind of jealous for knowing I was not the first one but also... kind of guilty...

I shall look for the previous occupant and ask him/her about... well... anything.

Brand New to this Blogging thing

Hello everybody, and welcome to my blog.

It was today while perched on my love's window, looking at the beautiful landscape (the neighbor's wall), that I thought I lead a very interesting life for a creature of my kind, so I decided to keep a journal of my everyday happenings.

I'm pretty new to these whole 'internet' and 'BLOGGING' things, so please bear with me. I hope you all have fun while reading my daily adventures AND misadventures.

But let me introduce myself: My name is Linguini. I don't believe I have a lastname. I am a stuffed replica from the super handsome and smart, Alfredo Linguini, from the Disney animated blockbuster, Ratatouille - I haven't actually seen it, but my future daughter-in-law loves it!. I was brought into this home on May 10th, 2008 as a mother's day present.
I'll admit I was kind of scared when I got to my new home, you know, the whole ordeal of being taken away from my brothers and sisters and brought into a new place was kind of traumatic. But I was received with open arms by the most beautiful woman: The Love of my Life. I was shocked that she immediately took me to sleep with her, but very happy at the same time.
Saddly, a few days later that I discovered she was actually a married woman. It was then that I decided I'd fight for her love. Sure, her husband is much bigger, and a human, but I will never surrender. I know she loves me.

Well, this is all I have to say for today. My Love is already alseep, and she needs me to keep her company, we'll see if her husband lets me stay in their bed tonight.
